Which Champagne would You treat your parents or in-laws?
‘My mom, which is the person I look up to most in the hole world only deserves the best. She´s never been a big Champagne drinker, evan if she appreciate a good glass now and then. I would open a bottle of Larmandier- Bernier ”Vieilles Vignes Cramant” 2002. A sophisticated, elegant and expressive wine. The house Larmandier-Bernier I worked with a lot and the quality is fantastic.‘
Which Champagne would You treat your lover?
‘100% Paul Bara ”Comtesse Marie de France” 2008, its a wine meant to be shared with someone special.’
Which Champagne would You treat your boss?
‘Well Björn Frantzén as I know him would never settle for anything but perfection, Krug ”Clos du Mesnil” 1996 is just magnificent.’
Which Champagne would You treat yourself?
‘Bollinger ”La Grande Anné Rosé” is a wine that has it all. Its powerful and expressive but at the same time elegant and so very vibrant. This is a wine you could have in your glass for hours, and it would constantly show new layers of aromas and expressions.’
Which Champagne would You treat a dream guest, and why?
‘A dream guest for me would be Thomas Pico, the owner and winemaker of Pattes Loup in Chablis. I worked there back and forward and he is a person a respect and who has good values. I would treat him with a bottle of Ulysse Collin ”Blanc de Blancs” 2004. Ulysse Collins Champagne´s everyone should drink more of if they get the oppertunity!‘
