BIO
Wine lover and sommelier since 1994. Niclas was involved in building the wine program at Sturehof and Pontus 1995-2009. His career continued to Australia and California, where Niclas was PR manager for Penfolds and Beringer, among others. Today, Niclas runs an advertising agency and holds online tastings via his wine channel Vinsmart with thousands of viewers every week.
Which Champagne would You treat your parents or in-laws?
’My mother-in-law loves rosé Champagne and especially Gosset so it must be when she needs to be refreshed.‘
Which Champagne would You treat your lover?
’My wife is weak for the lightness and generosity of Dom Perignon and likes most young wines so 1999 Dom right now would fit perfectly.‘
Which Champagne would You treat your boss?
’I’m my own boss and he needs to be pampered sometimes. I would gladly give him a glass of ’88 Winston Churchill or ’76 Taittinger’s Comtes de Champagne.‘

Which Champagne would You treat a dream guest, and why?
’My dream guest would be David Bowie and a bottle of Dom Perignon 1969 which is one of my favorite Champagnes, it is also the year that Space Oddity was released!‘
