‘Domaine Leflaive is one of my absolute favorites for white wines in Burgundy. Therefore, it is wonderful to see that the family has stepped in with serious plans in Champagne. Valentin Leflaive started his bubbling journey in Avize 2015 at De Sousa and brought his barrels from Puligny-Montrachet. In 2020, he received house status and now has a high-class winery in Oger. The wines are made by the famous winemaker Christophe Pitois. Production is limited to the main villages in Champagne and Verzenay from the debut year 2015 impresses most in the beginning.’
