‘What’s more natural than starting our champagne adventure with my champagne oasis. My urban globetrotter lifestyle makes it vitally necessary to live in the countryside. With its lush greenery, clean air and a mix of rural settings and archipelago, Lidingö, the island where I live, is to Stockholm what Long Island is to New York. The big city is just a stone’s throw away, but it is easy to find tranquillity in a forest glade or by the sea that is never far away. Right next to the picturesque cove where I live with my family is a small and unobtrusive bird lake called Lake Ekholmsnäs. I often come here to watch harriers, white-tailed eagles and sea birds, or just to breathe in the serenity and meditate for a while.
