Thursday 30 July 2024 – United by shared values, such as a pioneering spirit and the pursuit of excellence, the iconic French Maison and the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup will celebrate the greatest sailors who will compete in Barcelona for the oldest international sporting trophy: the America’s Cup.
Starting in August 2024, the regattas will pit the five Challengers—INEOS Britannia, Alinghi Red Bull Racing, Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli, NYYC American Magic, and Orient Express Racing Team- all eagerly vying to challenge Emirates Team New Zealand, the Defender and current Holder, for the Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup.
For over 30 years, Moët & Chandon has honoured the most glorious sailing victories, helping contribute to the overall prestige of America’s Cup. As official champagne to the event, Moët & Chandon will play a central role in every celebratory moment aboard the winning boats of the famous race, as well as during various trophy presentations.

ABOUT THE AMERICA’S CUP
The America’s Cup is the oldest international sporting trophy −dating back to 1851– and stands as one of the hardest sporting endeavours. The New York Yacht Club, one of the most prestigious clubs in the world, held the trophy for 132 years before losing it in 1983 to Australia. Since then, the Cup has only been won by teams from the United States, Switzerland and New Zealand. The current Defender of the America’s Cup is Emirates Team New Zealand, representing the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron. The Louis Vuitton 37th America’s Cup will take place between August and October 2024 in the beating heart of Barcelona, one of the most visited cities on planet earth. Situated around the Port Vell and out along the beach to the Port Olímpic, the sailing world has made Barcelona their home for what promises to be one of the most intense America’s Cups in the event’s 173-year history.
